Have I Been On Vacation?!
July 19, 2007 at 6:26 pm | Posted in Uncategorized | Leave a commentOK, I know I vanished off the scene for a few days here! (ok, for a few weeks then!) I had a great opportunity to take a trip to be with some fav cousins, and then decided to stay longer – you knows how that goes. I just don’t know how adults do it with no summer break!!
But as always, I was watching the kids and parents around me interact, and taking notes all over the place. (where is that MP3 recorder when I need it?!) And I’ll be sharing some of what I saw with you in my next few posts.
Stay tuned, you won’t want to miss all this fresh dirt!!! (j/k – I’m not going to tell on you G and B)

Learning

Well thats a great example of what all of us kids go through. Its just part of our learning prosses, we try things and sometimes it takes us a lot of tries to get it righ, thats just how we learn.
It really helps us kids when our parents are supportive of this. Sometimes parents want to just do everything for a kid instead of letting him or her figure it out for themselves. Which is okay in some situations. But I would advise any parent to make it a habit to let their kids get hands on life experience. Sometimes the best way to succeed is to fail.
A quick tip for kids
February 28, 2007 at 1:03 am | Posted in Uncategorized | Leave a commentI have a little piece of advice I’d like to give to all the kids out there. Since this is supposed to be a blog for kids (by a kid). I’ll offer this little tip I’ve picked up along the way: kids, be nice to your teachers. Befriend your teachers! Get them on your side! I know it may be hard sometimes, they can get kind of annoying. But I promise you, its in your best interest.
I see kids at my school all the time who annoy the teacher on purpose, and let me tell you, it doesn’t help their grades. As a rule, teachers aren’t supposed to show favoritism but we all know they do. So use that to your advantage! You don’t have to suck up and be the teacher’s pet but it will really help you to stay on the teacher’s good side. Trust me, I’m a kid too!
Well that’s my quick tip, hope it helps (note: it will if you use it
